Hi, I’m Ines. I'm a researcher, writer, and Oxford-trained PhD economist, passionate about making complex ideas in science, technology, and business accessible and impactful.
My academic work spans education, healthcare economics, and behavioural economics. I’ve published in leading peer-reviewed journals like Health Economics and the Journal of Human Resources, and contributed to policy debates through public writing and cross-sector research. You can learn more about my academic research here.
Alongside academia, I’ve helped creators and authors translate evidence-based ideas for public audiences. As lead writer for Veritasium’s science newsletter and Head of Content for Ali Abdaal (6M+ subscribers), I developed scalable systems that turned research into clear, engaging storytelling across YouTube, newsletters, and social media.
Today, I combine these two worlds - rigorous analysis and compelling communication - to make advances in science and technology understandable and actionable, with a growing focus on AI progress and policy.
On the side, I write about the changing nature of modern work and how we navigate attention, ambition, agency in a digital world. You can learn more about my writing here.
